Creta Aquamarine Hotel - Platanes (Rethymno)

We had a really great stay for quiet holidays.

Many things to mention - everything was clean, affordable food, lovely views. The room was amazingly comfortable with a mini-fridge-bar, air conditioning, and an iron included. The staff were affable, the location was great and awesome:)))

My stay was real good for quiet holidays. Got spacious and cosy guest room with garden view when arrived, liked that.

This hotel offers clean and cozy rooms with a lovely garden view, friendly staff, and is in a fantastic spot near restaurants and bars, making it perfect for exploring the beautiful surroundings.

Our experience was good. The location was Awesome for the destinations we were going to. This hotel's not far from tourist places like platanes beach.

When the receptionist gives you the key and tells you that you room is upstairs, this says all about the hotel. The beatiful pictures of the room on it's homepage was made by a pro. The room we got was in a diffeent world. We had to beg the lady to change our room next day, which she thanfully did. Breakfast in the morning- coffee was just about warm,all food was made 1-3 days beforehand. The swimming pool had not been cleaned for over a month; something like a bird dead at the bottom. The feathers, leaves,insects were floating on the surface and green fungus on the edges. No sign of Closed Swimming Pool for the guest. We felt like the host was purposely trying to make us sick.

I stayed in a guest room that had a mini-fridge, air conditioning, and an iron, which were all really convenient. the sea view from the window was absolutely amazing! 🌊.

Excellent location of the hotel (30m from the beach). The room was clean, daily equipped, fast and polite housekeeping response. The food (breakfast and dinner) was very good. Excellent service. All the staff was welcoming, polite and helpful. Congratulations to the General manager, Mrs. Mary Polychronopoulou, for making us feel welcome. We would definitely recommend this hotel to the people we know, and we would like to visit it again.

I had a wonderful stay at Creta Aquamarine Hotel for a relaxing holiday. the twin room I stayed in had a lovely balcony with a beautiful garden view. the hotel is in a unique setting, conveniently located near Rethymno and the stunning beach of Platanias. I also enjoyed spending time at the Lord High Admiral, which is a fantastic spot to unwind. it was a great experience!

Excellent location- just near the beach, quite and 1 minute from the centre of Platanias with all restaurants, shops etc. Platanias is a very good place to be with great calm relaxation beaches, not too crowdy on the beach, great restaurants etc.. Half-board at the hotel great. good value fro money. Rooms are modest, but enough. clean

nice price, excellent location (near to a blue flag beach), the staff was very kind, clean rooms, comfortable beds. Quiet location but still near to the centre of Platanes and only a few km's away from Rethymno.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel in Crete! The location was perfect, just steps away from the beautiful beach of Platanias. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making me feel very welcome. The rooms on the second floor offered stunning views of the sea and had a balcony where I could relax and enjoy the scenery. The breakfast provided was delicious and had a variety of options to choose from.

Everything was great, no complaints whatsoever.

Perfect location right next to the beach. Stuff is very friendly and always ready to help. The room was clean, breakfast ok. Very nice pool. Excellent choice for a family holidays to a reasonable price.

This was our first time in Crete and I must say thet we had a fantastic time. We found the hotel after getting lost on the island and reached there late afternoon. But, a quick dip in the beautiful pool swept our worries away. The hotel's manager Vasilis Tseronis is as polite and gracious as they come. The rooms were very comfortable with linen being changed daily. The breakfast was good with Vassilis personally attending to our needs. Overall, a really memorable stay. Thank you Creta Residence and all those who made us feel welcome.
